About Us

In the 2006-2007 academic year, the Accounting and Tax Applications program was open under the Accounting and Tax Department.
The Accounting and Tax Applications Program aims to train qualified graduates who can take responsibility in the accounting departments of enterprises and the accounting services of public institutions and organizations, who are knowledgeable in accounting, finance, business management, Turkish tax system and financial legislation.
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program (120 ECTS equivalent) and to obtain a GPA 2.00 out of 4.00. Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive an Associate Degree (Economics and Administrative Programs) in the field of Accounting and Tax Applications Associate Degree Program.
The graduates of the program can work as assistant staff in the offices of Certified Public Accountant and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or they can open their own accounting offices by obtaining the SMMM certificate if they complete their four-year undergraduate education after completing this program and meet the necessary legal requirements.
If they are successful in the exams, they can become managers in high-level positions in public institutions and organizations such as Independent Auditor, Tax Inspector, SGK Inspector. They can start to work as accounting personnel, accounting specialist, accounting officer in the relevant fields of banks, insurance companies and foreign trade enterprises, tourism, construction and industrial enterprises, and then they can work as accounting chief, assistant accounting manager and manager.
Our graduates who want to continue their education can obtain the right to transfer to four-year undergraduate programs of universities if they get sufficient scores in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center.
